Can't figure out why ECM is not backing off the % even tho the icp is telling it it's to high. I even replaced icp again with a good used and still the same outcome. Ipr is commanded to max and icp hits 4917 than quits the test. During KOER test when you watch the ipr and icp it does the same. It doesn't change until light comes on and goes into open loop or you back off the throttle. Noticed ipr is at 83-89% and doesn't try to come down even when icp is at 4917 and desired is still asking for 4000. It was a low hpop issue to start with not high pressure issue.

What I heard is the aftermarket one has a rougher bore inside and the piston can stick. Turns out thy have two lines of ipr valves, one is oem $$$$ and a aftermarket one almost 1/2 the cost. You mention check engine light on, what's the code? why not unplug ICP sensor to see if result still same?

Even let truck run in parking lot for 3 hrs at 1200 rpm still same result. Replaced the IPR with a new one same result. When full throttle or pulling hill icp jumps from desired to 4917 instantly then code comes on then check engine and engine goes to open loop for a little bit then goes back to closed loop and normal power.As soon as you floor it under load it happens again.
